It all began with Helena’s passion – the desire to create delicious and nutritious recipes for those with dietary restrictions. Having lived with allergies since infancy, Helena learned the hard way how to enjoy life despite food limitations. Challenges led to insights, and insights sparked a desire to share knowledge with others. She wanted to ensure that no one had to settle for bland alternatives or feel excluded at the dining table.

With this vision in mind, a blog was launched in 2016 and later Facebook group, quickly gaining traction. Helena started sharing recipes, tips, and experiences with those following special diets – and soon, the community grew into a support network where everyday joys and challenges were shared.

The success of the blog and Facebook group opened new doors. Collaborations with companies began, enabling Helena to develop even better products for individuals with dietary restrictions. Over the years, Aktivos evolved from a passion project into a family business as Helena’s daughters, Fiialiisa and Krista, joined the company.
